Toolbar Item:

Command Line:
XirusLoft
Description
The Loft command allows you to create a XirusCAD surface from a set of curves by joining them.
Parameters
- XirusCAD curves to loft (DeleteInput: Either ‘On’ or ‘Off’. On: Input XirusCAD object is deleted upon execution of the command.)
- Points to match
- Direction to match
How To
You can call the Loft command from the XirusCAD menu, from the XirusCAD Toolbar or from the command line. You have to create a set of XirusCAD curves then call the Loft command. You have to select the XirusCAD curves and the points that will match along with their direction.
Comments
If we select different inverse tangencies, we see that the surface will flip. Lofting works with periodic and non-periodic curves as well. If we are using non-periodic curves, the resulting object will be non-periodic as well. The resulting object is periodic only if we are lofting periodic curves. If there is at least one curve that is non-periodic, the resulting object will be non-periodic as well.
